- Halal and Grass-Fed Tallow: Our tallow comes from ethically raised, grass-fed cattle, ensuring the highest quality and adherence to halal standards (hand-slaughtered zabiha). An incredibly moisturizing and healing ingredient.
- Herati Saffron: Saffron, known for its antioxidant properties, helps rejuvenate the skin, reduce inflammation, and promote a radiant complexion.

*This is an essential oil-free product. We only use herbal infusions to ensure gentleness on skin and no irritations. As such, the herbal scent is mild and perfect for those with fragrance sensitivities.
Note: this is a luxury skincare product that includes small traces of herbal sediment (you may find saffron strands within the balm).

Directions:
Apply the desired amount to damp skin or hair (bonus points if dampened with natural rose water). A little goes a long way with this balm.
Processing time:
Please allow for a 1 to 10-day processing time before your order is shipped out! Each product is rendered and infused to order to ensure freshness.
*Please Note: the Tallow Balms are subject to temperature. Shipping in the winter may cause them to harden slightly while warmer temperatures will cause them to soften. This does not affect the tallow itself, only the consistency. Storing your Tallow Balm at room temperature is recommended for optimum consistency.

I intentionally waited two months before I left a review here as I wanted to give this tallow balm a fair chance and here is my honest review...let me tell you, when I say heaven, I mean HEAVEN. I am all about the shea and cocoa butters and so on, but this was incredibly quenching on my thirsty skin! Not only did it NEVER dry out my skin, but it just felt sooooooo right...ladies, this is a gamechanger in the skincare routine...hitting my late 30's and having struggled with redness and irritation in the last few years, mixed with challenging sun sensitivities, this has brought such relief and I have noticed a major improvement in my skin moisture and overall repair. Bonus- owner is super kind and accommodating with questions and personal requests. I am down to my last smidgen of 'Herati' tallow balm, which smelt so lovely by the way, of a subtle saffron. You just need so little on your finger to give you so much! Being it a small business, I trust the local farmers and organic tallow at Sunnah Apothecary as the other stuff out there is not guaranteed from a pure source and puts us at risk of being laden with toxins. The real deal ladies. I cannot wait to try the black seed balm now! Ordering tonight! I did in person pick up and got the habbat al sawda (black seed) balm, as well as the lavender vanilla whipped balm. The seller was very kind and gave me a sample of the Herati, which ended up being my favourite. I have been suffering with acne for a while on my cheeks and chin, trying out everything from simple routines to korean skincare, and honestly I felt completely helpless. It was red and inflamed and nothing was working anymore. I tried this out on a whim to simplify my routine and I will not go back. My acne has gone flat in 2 weeks since I started using it, no painful pimples under my skin anymore. I do still have scarring but Im optimistic that with the balm and some time those will fade. I could not recommend this enough. If anyone’s worried about the smell, the herati and lavender vanilla smell great and no “beefy” smell. I have extremely sensitive skin and have had no reaction whatsoever. The black seed balm does have a little odour from the black seed oil itself, but it doesn’t linger too long and I honestly don’t mind it. 10/10 recommend :)
